Pet Allergies?
The allergy
causing material from pets, often
isn't pet hair, but rather a protein present in the dander and saliva of pets.
These pet allergens become airborne as microscopic particles, which when inhaled
into the nose or lungs can produce allergic symptoms. The most important
determinants of an allergic reaction to a pet is the amount of airborne allergen
in the immediate environment and the individual's sensitivity to the allergen.
Pet allergies can be very debilitating, and pet allergen is one of the most
difficult to remove from the home because it is extremely small. To effectively
remove the source of a pet allergen, without removing your pet- see our
recommended steps below.
Step 1. You
will need some type of vacuum cleaner, to help filter your air with a HEPA (High
Efficiency Particulate Absolute). HEPA filter vacuums will reduce the pet
allergens in the air, trapping it permanently.
Step 2. Obtain
either a HEPA air purifier to help filter your air or use ClearAir.
The HEPA air cleaners help eliminate pet allergens but ClearAir extreminates
them.
Step 3. You
could also add a vapour steam cleaner to clean, disinfect, deodorize, and
remove pet dander. They are the perfect tool for allergy sufferers and those
with multiple chemical sensitivities.
